Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Redmond, Oregon. The CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic images and works with radiologists to ensure patient safety and image quality.

Required qualifications include one year of CT experience, a valid Radiology license, and current BLS certification. ARRT certification is preferred; other licenses may be required for this position. Travel compensation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of CT Technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within CT Tech practice.
