Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel CT Tech for a 13-week assignment at a facility in John Day, Oregon. You will operate CT scanners, position patients, and collaborate with radiologists to produce high-quality images while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT technologist experience.
• Valid radiology license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position them appropriately.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to clearly demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies for safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties within the CT Tech scope.
