Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CT imaging experience; trauma center experience preferred.
• NJ Department of Environmental Protection Diagnostic Radiography License.
• ARRT Certified R.T.(R) required.
• BLS certification within three months of hire.
• ARRT Certified R.T.(CT) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex CT procedures and document patient clinical histories.
• Prepare patients for procedures and administer contrast media as prescribed.
• Verify exam prescriptions and coordinate with Radiologists for clarifications.
• Ensure accuracy in the contrast questionnaire and document in EPIC.
• Manage external studies and integrate into PACS for Radiologist review.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and manage IV/venipuncture as needed.
• Maintain compliance with department policies and equipment handling.
