Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in St. Joseph, Missouri. The role is a 13‑week, 36 hours/week night shift position in a Level II trauma setting, serving adult to geriatric patients.

Candidates must hold ARRT CT and ARRT R credentials with BLS, and have at least 1 year of CT experience; EPIC and travel experience are preferred. GE CT with PACS is used; on-call required occasionally.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year CT experience.
• Proficient in image display and 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction.
• Experience with IV starts and contrast media administration.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and PPE.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Previous travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT studies including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, and more.
• Carry out procedures such as coronary CTA and brain perfusion.
• Maintain patient safety and provide quality imaging.
