Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week teaching hospital assignment in Pittsfield, MA. You will perform CT and X‑ray procedures, working 40 hours/week on an evenings shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM).

The role requires 2+ years CT experience, ARRT CT certification, and BLS. A Massachusetts radiology license and Meditech Expanse experience are highly valued. On-site work at a 298-bed teaching hospital with PACS/HIS/RIS systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years current CT experience required.
• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Active BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Massachusetts Radiology license required if applicable.
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred.
• Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required.
• Must be able to function independently in a high stress, work-intensive environment.
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of technical CT and X-Ray procedures requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.
• Duties include primary diagnostic Radiology and CT scan tasks such as IV insertion and injections.
• May assume supervisory or instructional responsibilities for department personnel as assigned.
• Utilizes PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems, along with CR, DR, and CT equipment.
• Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, including Tiger Text messaging.
• Practices infection control per departmental, hospital, and OSHA standards.
• Completes annual mandatory education including bloodborne pathogens and infection control training.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and departmental competencies.
