Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Clarkston, Michigan. The role is 40 hours per week with evenings shift and travel employment. The CT Tech must have 1 year of experience and hold ARRT CT certification with BLS; state licensing may be required.

You will perform CT imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and work with PACS systems while adhering to facility policies and safety standards. Competitive benefit offerings accompany travel assignments.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CT experience preferred.
• ARRT (CT) certification and BLS required; state licensing as applicable.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
