Requirements include ARRT certification, 2+ years CT experience, BLS, and Iowa license eligibility. Must live 60+ miles from the facility and be available within a few weeks.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Eligible for Iowa radiologic technologist license.
• Must reside 60+ miles from the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency CT exams per physician orders.
• Prepare and position patients for safe, accurate imaging.
• Administer contrast media following department protocols.
• Apply radiation safety practices for patients and staff.
• Review images for quality before sending to radiologists.
• Document procedures accurately in the EHR and PACS.
