TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Des Moines, Iowa. The CT Tech performs computed tomography imaging, positions patients, administers contrast, and ensures high-quality scans for physicians.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, BLS, and 1 year of CT experience, with the ability to stand for long periods and follow radiation safety procedures. Travel details include 40 hours/week, nights, and a tax-free stipend may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year CT experience.
• BLS and ARRT CT certification with CT registration.
• State licensing as required for the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and explain CT procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
• Position patients and operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents and review imaging for quality.
• Maintain patient records and adhere to radiation safety procedures.
• Utilize McKesson PACS to interpret and share images with physicians.
