Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist in Clearlake, CA to work a 13-week assignment. The role requires 18 months of CT Tech experience and ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, with licensure as required by state law. Work is 40 hours per week, with 10-hour day shifts. Travel, housing, and benefits are provided.

The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, assist radiologists, manage contrast, and maintain image quality while upholding patient safety and care standards.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of CT Tech experience in a healthcare setting.
• ARRT CT or ASRT certification is required.
• Most states require licensure to practice.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans and ensure proper immobilization.
• Set up CT equipment controls and monitor patients during procedures.
• Assist radiologists with imaging, IVs, and contrast administration.
• Provide oral contrast to patients when needed for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures as required.
• Evaluate image quality and label/sequence processed images.
• Schedule patients and support clerical tasks and record charging details.
• Operate power injections for contrast media and ensure safety.
