Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is hiring a travel CT Technologist for a contract position in Birmingham, Alabama. The role offers a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week and PM shifts on a travel basis, at a partnering hospital.

The ideal candidate will have an AS or BS in Radiologic Technology, ARRT (R) certification, CT certification preferred, and active state radiologic licensure where applicable. BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; CT imaging experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure radiation safety and patient comfort.
• Evaluate CT scans for image quality.
