Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Birmingham, Alabama. This contract position runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, evenings shift.

The ideal candidate has 18 months of CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure as required by state regulations. Private housing or housing allowance and weekly pay are among the benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position CT scans and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Set controls and monitor equipment, ensuring patient safety and image quality.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, IV starts, and contrast administration.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients when required.
• Assist with interventional CT procedures and patient scheduling as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper labeling of images.
