Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The role supports a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week, primarily days shifts in a hospital setting.

Qualified candidates will have an ARRT credential, CT imaging experience, and an active radiology license. BLS required; ACLS preferred. Travel compensation is provided and SHC offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1-2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; prior CT imaging preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment for patient safety.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort, including radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans for technical quality.
