Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Lafayette, Colorado is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The position offers 36 hours per week on 9-hour day shifts, requiring you to perform diagnostic CT imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety in a dynamic hospital setting.

You will collaborate with radiology staff, interpret orders, position patients, and operate McKesson PACS to archive studies. Candidates must have ARRT CT, BLS, at least 1 year of CT experience, and state licensing as

Qualifications

• At least 1 year CT imaging experience.
• BLS and ARRT CT Certification with state licensing as required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions.
• Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Use CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility.
• Evaluate CT scans for image quality and technical adequacy.
• Follow radiation safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
