Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist in Wilson, North Carolina for a 13-week assignment, 40 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts. This travel contract requires ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, at least 18 months CT experience, and state licensure where applicable.

The role involves operating CT equipment, assisting radiologists, and ensuring patient safety and quality imaging. Weekly pay, housing options, and comprehensive credentialing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Licensure is required in most states.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set controls of CT equipment and monitor patients, making adjustments as necessary.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images correctly.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment with timely, compassionate care.
