Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel CT Tech for a 13-week assignment in Westfield, New York. The role involves operating CT scanners, ensuring image quality, and complying with safety protocols while supporting radiologists and patients.

Qualifications

• One year of CT Technologist experience required.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within CT Tech scope.
