Job summary

The CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. They prepare patients, position them safely, and ensure imaging protocols are followed while working with radiologists to obtain high-quality images.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year CT technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) on file.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic use.
• Prepare and position patients, explaining imaging process.
• Set technical parameters to clearly demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.

Skills

One year CT experience

Valid Radiology license

Current BLS certification

Current ARRT Certification
