Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
• Position patients and set controls ensuring image quality and technician safety.
• Assist radiologists with procedures, contrast administration, and IV starts as applicable.
• Schedule procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
• Maintain patient care standards, safety, and compliance with safety initiatives.
