Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Fresno, CA seeks a travel CT Technologist for a 12-week assignment. You will operate CT equipment, ensure accurate images, and collaborate with physicians for interpretation.

This role requires patient prep, positioning, and strict safety practices in a fast-paced travel setting. The ideal candidate has 1 year of CT experience, BLS, ARRT CT certification with registration, and any required state licensing.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CT tech experience required.
• BLS and ARRT CT certification with registration; state licensing as required.
• Proficient with CT imaging procedures and radiologic safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and capture diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Prepare patients for scanning and explain procedures to provide comfort and assurance.
• Position patients correctly for targeted body areas and optimize image quality.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed and monitor patient response.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow radiation safety protocols.
• Familiarity with the McKesson PACS system for image management.
