Supplemental Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Sierra Vista, Arizona. The role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts on a travel basis at a partnering hospital.

ASAP start date; ARRT radiography (R) certification and CT experience preferred. BLS required; ACLS preferred. Earn weekly pay between $1,755 and $1,922 with potentially extendable contract and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program with degree.
• ARRT Radiography certification; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years radiologic technologist experience; CT imaging experience preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and CT protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients.
• Maintain radiation safety and protect patients.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.

Education

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details:

• $1,755 - $1,922 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• AM shifts available
• 36 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
