Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in North Charleston, SC. The position offers 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts at a partnering hospital.

Ideal candidates hold an ARRT radiography certification, CT preferred, and a radiologic technologist license. BLS is required; ACLS preferred. Prior CT imaging experience is strongly favored and a 1–2 year background is desirable.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; CT imaging experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $1,710 - $1,884 per week*
• 26-week contract with possibility to extend
• AM shifts available
• 36 hrs/wk

Duties

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
