Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Frankfort, Kentucky. The position runs on 12-hour night shifts with a 36-hour workweek, offering exposure to a partnering hospital and opportunities for professional growth.

Required are an ARRT radiography certification (CT preferred), a radiologic technology degree, and BLS; 1–2 years CT experience is strongly preferred. Travel benefits and support are provided by SHC.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; prior CT imaging preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and obtain cooperation.
• Maintain radiation protection practices for patient safety.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and accuracy.

• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
