Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Cleveland, OH. This 13-week contract offers a 36-hour work week with 12-hour day shifts at a partner hospital.

You will perform CT imaging, ensure patient safety, and uphold radiologic standards while collaborating with the health care team. ARRT certification and BLS are required, with CT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and provide comfort.
• Apply radiation protection practices to protect patients.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $1,640 - $1,814 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• AM shifts available
• 36 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
