Job Description

The CT Technologist operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. This role also encompasses a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Requirements

• Day Shift with Saturday and Sunday coverage from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Work schedule includes only 2 days a week, totaling 48 hours every 2 weeks.

Education and Work Experience

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification in the state of practice: Required in CA
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate from an approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment: Required in CA, if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification: Required in CA, if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials
