We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Diagnostic Radiology team. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality imaging services and support to both inpatients and outpatients.

Job Details

• Unit: CT (Computed Tomography)
• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Nights, Every Other Weekend
• Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years

Responsibilities

The CT Technologist will be responsible for:

• Performing CT scans on patients as per the physician's orders.
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the CT area and equipment.
• Collaborating with radiologists and other health care team members.
• Providing support in the Operating Room, Emergency Room, and other areas as necessary.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following certifications:

• BLS Certification
• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Verification
• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification
• Fluoroscopy Certificate

Additionally, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Rad Tech I or Rad Tech II with CT experience.
• Rad Tech II must have relevant CT experience.

Work Environment

The position is within a dynamic and fast-paced diagnostic radiology department. Technologists will work with advanced EMR systems including Cerner, and utilize Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 equipment.

Additional Information

The selected candidate will report to the Manager and Team Lead, and will undergo 1-2 shifts of floor-specific orientation. Weekend and holiday work may be required as needed.

Scrub color for the department is teal, except when entering the Operating Room, where scrubs will be provided.
