We're looking for a Travel CT Technologist in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry, based in Virginia, United States.

Pay: $2,800.00 - $4,800.00 per week plus weekly per diem.

As a CT Tech, you'll work with top healthcare companies across the US. Contracts range from 12 weeks to up to a year, with a high priority on placement at new roles after contract completion.

Currently, we are recruiting CT Techs for multiple US locations. Candidates must be capable of performing examinations on patients of all ages to assist in diagnosing illnesses, and serve as training resources.

Responsibilities:

1. Performing CT diagnostic imaging procedures according to department protocols.
2. Locating and recording internal body elements, identifying anomalies indicative of disease or injury.
3. Adjusting equipment and calming patients to eliminate test artifacts.
4. Monitoring patients for physical and emotional changes.
5. Evaluating test results for clarity and accuracy.
6. Reviewing tests with peers and physicians.
7. Informing physicians of preliminary findings as requested.
8. Distributing test results to physicians and service providers.
9. Preparing diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
10. Maintaining patient charts, entering diagnosis and billing codes, logging data, and updating patient files.
11. Cleaning and sterilizing equipment and workspace.
12. Recognizing equipment malfunctions and coordinating repairs.
13. Instructing patients on pretest preparations and explaining procedures.
14. Maintaining equipment per Infection Control procedures.
15. Continuing education and participation in Siemens training programs to maintain technical competency.
16. Administering contrast agents under radiologist guidance, following site protocols.
17. Maintaining current Permits to Practice in all relevant states.
18. Performing quality checks and troubleshooting equipment issues.
19. Following quality assurance guidelines and maintaining patient confidentiality.
20. Performing additional duties as required.
