Description

We're looking for a Travel CT Technologist in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry, based in Hackensack, New Jersey, United States.

Pay: $2,800.00 - $4,800.00 per week plus weekly per diem.

Are you an MRI – CT Tech seeking to advance your career with an innovative company renowned for Medical Imaging? Our client provides access to industry experts who design and maintain the systems we work on, along with ongoing training and education.

As a CT Tech, you will work with some of the top healthcare companies across the US. Contracts range from 12 weeks to up to a year, with high priority given to new placements upon contract completion.

Currently, we are hiring CT Techs for multiple locations within the US. Candidates must be capable of performing CT examinations on patients of all ages to assist in diagnosing illnesses, and also serve as a training resource.

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Perform CT diagnostic imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions according to department protocols.
  2. Locate and record internal body elements, identifying anomalies indicative of disease or injury.
  3. Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts.
  4. Monitor patients for physical and emotional changes.
  5. Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
  6. Review tests with peers and physicians.
  7. Inform physicians of preliminary findings as per department procedures.
  8. Distribute test results to physicians and service providers.
  9. Prepare diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
  10. Maintain patient charts, enter diagnosis and billing codes, log data, and update records.
  11. Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
  12. Recognize equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
  13. Instruct patients in pretest preparation and answer questions.
  14. Maintain equipment according to Infection Control procedures.
  15. Continue education and participate in Siemens training programs to maintain technical competency.
  16. Administer contrast agents under supervision, following site-specific protocols.
  17. Maintain current Permits to Practice in all relevant states.
  18. Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot issues.
  19. Notify team members of service needs.
  20. Follow quality assurance guidelines and ensure patient confidentiality.
  21. Perform additional duties as required.
