Requirements

1. At least 18 months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Tech
2. Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
3. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
4. Weekly pay and direct deposit

Duties & Responsibilities

CT technologists operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for diagnosis.

1. Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
2. Set controls on equipment, monitor equipment and patient, and make adjustments as needed
3. Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast if applicable
4. Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
5. Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures
6. Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, organize images, and label appropriately
7. Schedule patients and assist with clerical functions
8. Charge procedures and supplies to patient records
9. Operate power injections for contrast media administration
10. Provide quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
11. Maintain a patient-focused environment, providing timely and compassionate care
12. Promote a safe work environment, incorporating national patient safety initiatives
