Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Long Beach, California. The role involves operating CT scanners, preparing patients, and collaborating with radiologists to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

The ideal candidate has one year of CT experience, a valid radiology license, and current BLS certification. ARRT certification preferred; multiple licenses may be required depending on facility. Comprehensive benefits and support are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of CT Technologist experience required.
• Valid Radiology license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred ARRT certification and other licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare and position patients, explain the procedure and ensure safety.
• Set technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology clearly.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties within the CT Tech scope.
