Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel CT Tech for a 13-week assignment at a facility in Indianapolis, IN. The CT Tech will operate scanners, prepare patients, and work with radiologists to obtain diagnostic images while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ARRT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for CT procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the CT Tech scope.
