Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel CAT Scan Technologist (CT Tech) to perform CT imaging in healthcare facilities, based in Astoria, OR. The role involves producing CT scans and ensuring patient safety, with a 36-hour work week and weekly pay.

You will obtain patient history, explain procedures, address questions, and perform specialized CT tasks while adhering to licensure and ARRT requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year CT Technologist experience preferred.
• Appropriate state licensure in diagnostic imaging.
• ARRT Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Produce CT radiographs as ordered by a physician.
• Obtain patient history and explain standard procedures.
• Address patient concerns.
• Perform specialized tasks involved in CT scans.
