Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Newton, Massachusetts. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, position patients, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

Ideal candidates have one year of CT experience, a valid radiology license, and current BLS certification. ARRT certification is preferred. Travel benefits and support are provided by Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position patients accordingly.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to clearly demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies for patient and staff safety.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
