Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Northfield, Minnesota. This 13-week assignment involves 40 hours per week with evenings shifts; travel CT techs must have ARRT CT and BLS, with state licensing as required.

The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality imaging for physician interpretation, while following safety procedures and using the McKesson PACS system.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CT experience required
• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) certification with registration
• State licensing when required
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Explain imaging procedures to patients
• Position patients for scanning
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administer radiocontrast agents
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality
• Follow radiation safety procedures
• Maintain patient records
• Use McKesson PACS system
