American Traveler is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Saint Joseph, Missouri. The candidate should hold ARRT CT certification, have 3+ years of CT experience and be prepared for night shifts.

You will operate a GE Revolution Scanner in a Level II Trauma Center with a 1:3 patient ratio, 36 hours per week and occasional call. Travel experience is preferred, and first-time travelers are not considered.

Qualificações

• ARRT CT certification required.
• ARRT R registration and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 3 years CT technologist experience.
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, chest CTs.
• Knowledge of contrast administration and IV start.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3+ years of experience and ARRT CT certification for a night shift role at a Level II Trauma Center.

Details

• Level II Trauma Center setting serving adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, ICU, and Emergency Department populations
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), Monday/Tuesday/Thursday 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Call required approximately 2 shifts per month
• Uses GE Revolution Scanner, PACS, IV Tera Recon, AW, Vision, and i-STAT systems
• GE Revolution Scanner experience highly preferred

Requirements

• ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certifications required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Experience with image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
• Experience with special procedures including coronary CTA, vascular CTA, and brain perfusion preferred
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE

Additional Information

• Performs a wide range of CT imaging studies including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, chest, and vascular studies
• Supports a very busy hospital environment
• Previous travel experience preferred
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Previous employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
