Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, Virginia. The role includes 40 hours per week, evenings shifts, and travel employment. The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, position patients, and administer contrast while ensuring safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CT tech experience
• BLS and ARRT (CT) certification with CT registration
• State licensing where required

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and explain procedures to ease anxiety
• Review imaging requests and follow orders
• Position patients for specific CT scans
• Acquire diagnostic CT images with CT equipment
• Administer radiocontrast agents as required
• Evaluate image quality for diagnostic adequacy
• Maintain patient records and safety procedures with radiation
