Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist for a night shift position requiring ARRT (CT) certification and Philips CT equipment experience.

• Work in the CT Scanner department providing diagnostic services to inpatients and outpatients
• Night shift schedule 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday
• On-call requirement of 3-5 times per month
• Will float between campuses as needed
• Every weekend required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in CT Scan required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• FL Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
• Graduate of an accredited AMA radiography program
• Philips CT equipment experience required
• Proficient in routine diagnostic CT scanning of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities
• Experience with biopsy/drainage procedures under CT guidance
• Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedure, contrast media studies, and cross-sectional anatomy
• Skilled in basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic CT scanning procedures under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
• AHCA fingerprinting required for all CHS FL placements
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months are not accepted
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered
