Job Description & Requirements

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Hancock, Michigan. The position is a travel assignment, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts, with a pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and a tax‑free stipend (amount to be determined).

Responsibilities

As a CT Tech, you will:

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
• Use computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Qualifications

Must have:

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS certification
• Registry with ARRT (CT) and a National Certification in CT
• State‑specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop easily, and a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
