Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with strong Robotics and Vascular proficiency for a Level II Trauma Center OR, requiring 3+ years of CST experience. Level II Trauma experience is required; Level I preferred, with on-site day shifts and on-call requirements.

The traveler will work in a busy OR with da Vinci robotic systems and a wide range of specialties. Candidates should have CST certification, BLS, and ideally ACLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years CST experience required.
• Certification in CST required (NBSTSA or NCCT).
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Level II Trauma experience required; Level I preferred.
• Robotics and vascular surgery proficiency required.
• Eye, AAA and carotid/femoral cases preferred.
• Scrub proficiency without a sales rep for joints and hips.

Responsibilities

• Level II Trauma Center with 60–70 cases daily across multiple service lines.
• Operate in Robotic Center of Excellence with multiple Da Vinci systems.
• Utilize Doppler, ultrasound, lasers, stapling systems, and surgical tables.
• Work day shift 4x10 hours 0645–1715; on-call four 8-hour shifts per 4 weeks.
• Perform aseptic technique, instrument processing, sterilization and specimen handling.
• Support case prep/turnover in a fast-paced trauma environment.
