Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR travel assignment in Carlsbad, NM. The role requires 2+ years of experience across multiple surgical specialties including robotics (DaVinci), and CST certification. BLS is required and license if applicable.

Day shift, 4x10s, with on-call rotations and a 13-week assignment. Compensation includes a weekly pay of about $1,351–$1,501, with lodging and meals stipends as noted in the posting;

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of experience.
• BLS certification required.
• CST certification required (license if applicable).
• Experience in general, ortho, OBGYN, podiatry, urology, plastics, endo, trauma, robotics (DaVinci).
• Adult and pediatric surgical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and sterile field.
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon.
• Manage sterile field and specimens during procedures.
• Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent retained objects.
