Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR position in Montana. Requires BLS, NBSTSA, and 1–2 years of specialty experience. Trauma Level I and Cerner charting experience preferred; license and references may be required.

Responsibilities include hospital OR, ambulatory OR, and trauma settings across multiple specialties. Day shift is 4x10 hours (0600–1630) with call one night per week and one weekend per month.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• NBSTSA certification required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in specialty required.
• Trauma Level I experience preferred.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• References required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based general OR, ambulatory OR, and trauma settings.
• Wide range of surgical specialties including vascular, gynecology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, general surgery, urology, ENT, and robotics.
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 0600-1630.
• Call requirement of one night per week and one weekend per month.
• Cerner charting system preferred.
• No floating to affiliate hospitals unless agreed upon during interview or offer.
• Support a wide variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties including vascular, orthopedic, neuro, general, urology, ENT, and robotic surgery.
• Utilize Da Vinci Xi Surgical System for robotic-assisted procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and proper instrument processing throughout cases.
• Scrubs are provided.
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role.
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside 75+ miles from the facility.
• Background checks with license or background hits may be approved on a case-by-case basis.
• Former permanent employees must have a 2-year break in service before returning.
