Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week travel assignment in Scottsdale, AZ. You will provide direct OT interventions under supervision, adapt activities to patient needs, and coordinate with the clinical team to support daily living skills and independence.

Qualifications

• Valid OTA license in AZ
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• NBCOT COTA certification preferred
• Graduate of an accredited OT program

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, hands-on OT interventions per treatment plan
• Maintain and operate adaptive equipment for OT
• Educate patients and families on OT techniques for independence
• Collaborate with OTs and healthcare team for coordinated care
• Monitor patient responses and document outcomes
• Report findings to supervising OT
• Provide care across hospitals, rehab centers, and community clinics
• Adapt interventions to diverse settings and patient needs
• Prioritize tasks to manage multiple patients efficiently
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy
