Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a contract assignment in Shawnee, Oklahoma. This SNF/LTC setting offers 40 hours per week, days shift, 13-week duration, ASAP start.

The role requires an Associate degree or certificate, active OT assistant license or in process, CPR certification, and ability to work with an interdisciplinary team to implement treatment plans and monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Must have earned either an Associates degree from an accredited school or a certificate from a community/technical/vocational college.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA or be in process of licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Assist patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises per treatment plan developed with an OT.
• Assess learning needs and capabilities of patients and caregivers.
• Demonstrate sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.

• This is a contract position.

• This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Requirements include:

• Must have earned either an Associates degree from an accredited school or a certificate from either a community, technical or vocational college.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant/ COTA or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA.

• Assess the learning needs and capabilities of patients and caregivers with regards to age, level of understanding and emotional status.
