Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (General) for a 13-week travel assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The position runs 5x8 days (8:00 a.m.

– 4:30 p.m.) with 36 guaranteed hours per week, starting 11/30/2026 in a skilled nursing setting. Qualifying candidates are eligible to work in the United States and must demonstrate strong communication and documentation skills, plus ability to follow a plan of care with supervision by a licensed PT and care

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to work in a long-term care / skilled nursing care environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document clearly and accurately.
• Ability to follow a plan of care and collaborate with a licensed PT and the broader care team.
• Availability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week and a schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Implement and document therapy interventions for residents under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility tasks; adapt activities to goals and safety needs.
• Monitor resident responses during therapy sessions, document progress, and communicate changes to supervising PT and care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in resident records per facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure safety and infection control during therapy activities and properly maintain therapy equipment and supplies.
