Weekly Gross Pay = $1080
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $27
Weekly Travel Stipend (Non-Taxed, contributes to net pay) = $1386 (Hotel - $868, Meals - $518)
Total Weekly (not taxed) = $2466
Equivalent Hourly Rate = $61.65
Calculation: $2466 / 40 hours = $61.65

Role Description: The correctional nurse provides nursing care and treatment for inmates and detainees in correctional facilities across the state. Responsibilities include:

1. Serving as a charge nurse, staff nurse, or assessment coordinator.
2. Providing professional nursing care, developing care plans, and evaluating patient progress.
3. Supervising staff and ensuring compliance with regulations.
4. Performing a wide range of nursing procedures and maintaining accurate documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current registered nurse license issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing or a temporary permit.
• Ability to enter health data into electronic medical records.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Available for a temporary assignment up to 6 months.
