Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks an experienced Correctional Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate care to the incarcerated population in correctional facilities. You will work with healthcare teams, correctional officers, and administrators to provide routine and emergency care, while navigating the unique challenges of the correctional environment.

This travel assignment requires an active RN license in the state and a commitment to meeting federal and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where the nurse practices.
• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred.
• CCHP-RN certification preferred.
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulations).
• CPR certification if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and emergency health care in a correctional facility.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators.
• Address challenges and limitations of the correctional environment.
