Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Correctional RN to join our travel team. The role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals, correctional staff, and administrators to ensure the well-being of incarcerated patients.

You will provide both routine and emergency care in a correctional facility setting across VA locations. The position requires an active RN license for the state of practice, with preference for correctional health care experience and CCHP-RN

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred.
CCHP-RN Certification preferred.
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
Current CPR if applicable.
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsibilities

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensure the well-being of the incarcerated population.
Provides routine and emergency health care in a correctional facility setting.
