Job summary

OBR Cooling Towers is hiring Cooling Tower Cleaning Technicians to join our Great Lakes region team. This fast-paced field role involves traveling to sites to clean and maintain cooling tower equipment under supervision. You will operate power washers, follow safety protocols, and document THA and MSDS procedures.

Qualified candidates demonstrate ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights with tie-off, and have a valid driver's license with a willingness to travel. OSHA 10 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required; U.S. citizenship and background checks completed.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred; ability to perform fieldwork in variable conditions.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights with tie-off.
• Experience with power washers and chemical handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks on cooling tower equipment with attention to detail.
• Operate power washers safely; select appropriate spray heads.
• Follow supervisor instructions to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Complete THA cards and safety documentation on schedule.
• Read and apply MSDS information; handle chemicals properly.
• Work at heights with 100% tie-off above 4 feet; travel as needed.
