Local Travel Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery - Nights - Cumming, GA

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Night Shift

Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,190 (based on experience)

Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for a 13-week local travel assignment with one of our top healthcare partners in Cumming, Georgia. Position Overview

The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery. As part of a skilled maternity team, the L&D RN will ensure the safety and comfort of mothers and newborns, while managing labor complications and collaborating with obstetric providers.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor fetal heart tones, maternal vitals, and contractions using electronic fetal monitoring
• Administer medications, including epidurals and oxytocin, per physician orders
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries and respond to obstetric emergencies
• Provide patient education and emotional support during labor and delivery
• Manage postpartum care and newborn transition
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other L&D staff
  
  

Education And Certification Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia – Required
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience – Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification – Required
• AWOHNN (Intermediate or Advanced) – Required
• Experience using Cerner EMR – Preferred
