Connected Health Care, a top-tier recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a skilled Travel Med / Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse for an exciting 13-week assignment in Chicago, Illinois. Job Description :

• Provide comprehensive care to adult patients on Medical / Surgical and Telemetry units

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs

Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed

Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and allied health professionals to implement care plans

Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers efficiently

Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems

Uphold safety standards and infection control protocols in a high-acuity setting

Education & Certification Requirements :

Active RN license in Illinois or compact state

Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN)

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum of 1-2 years recent Med / Surg and Telemetry experience

Prior travel nursing experience preferred but not mandatory
