Local Travel ER Registered Nurse – Wausau, WI

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-Hour Variable

Weekly Compensation: Up to $3,000 (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing partner, is seeking a highly experienced and adaptable Local Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital team in Wausau, Wisconsin. This opportunity is perfect for a confident ER nurse who thrives in Trauma Level II environments and is ready for their next impactful assignment.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will be an experienced ER RN capable of managing urgent, complex patient care scenarios while providing high-quality and compassionate treatment in a Level II Trauma Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and treat patients in the Emergency Department
• Respond rapidly to life-threatening situations using critical thinking and ER protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals
• Document patient assessments and interventions using Epic EMR
• Adhere to a rotating schedule including every other weekend and holiday
• Participate in on-call rotations totaling 12 hours per 6-week period with a 30-minute response time
  
  

Education And Certification Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN License – Required
• AHA BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS Certifications – Required
• Minimum 5 years of Emergency Room nursing experience – Required
• At least 1 previous travel nursing assignment – Required
• Trauma Level II experience – Required
