Local Travel ER Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights - Wausau, WI

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Weekly Compensation: Up to $3,000 (Based on Experience)

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-Hour Variable Shifts

Weekend/Holiday: Every Other Weekend (primarily PMs), Every Other Holiday

On-Call Requirement: 12 Hours Per 6 Weeks | 30-Minute Response Time Required

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing agency, is seeking an experienced and adaptable Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week local travel assignment in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, emergency medical care in a fast-paced Level II Trauma Center
• Perform triage, assessments, and implement appropriate treatment protocols
• Rapidly respond to critical and life-threatening conditions with confidence and accuracy
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams in high-pressure situations
• Administer medications, IV therapy, wound care, and emergency procedures
• Document patient care using EPIC charting system
• Maintain strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety regulations
• Participate in scheduled on-call hours and respond within 30 minutes as required
  
  

Education & Certification Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Active Wisconsin RN License – Required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications – All Required
• Minimum 5 years of ER nursing experience
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience – Required
• Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center – Required
• EPIC charting system experience – Required
